Cycle meals couriers press for entry to York’s footstreets

The Metropolis of York Council is being urged to permit bicycle couriers engaged in meals deliveries to cycle by town’s pedestrianised streets. 

The Impartial Employees Union of Nice Britain has written to the council requesting a free allow scheme permitting couriers to make use of town’s ‘footstreets’ when on their strategy to choose up/ship takeaway meals. 

The union says the intensive community of footstreets within the metropolis centre ends in misplaced time and misplaced earnings…
