Essex-Charlotte ferry service to renew on Lake Champlain Monday

Ferry service on Lake Champlain between Essex, NY and Charlotte, VT will resume on Monday, Feb. eight.

The Lake Champlain Transportation Firm halted its southernmost, 25-minute ferry route on Jan. four. 

The ferry operator cited lowered passenger numbers throughout the pandemic saying it was, “essential to pay attention our assets to keep up service on the Grand Isle, VT – Plattsburgh, NY crossing.”
