Extra cycle lanes in Herefordshire can be bliss

I HAVE lived in Herefordshire for 30 years and have all the time loved biking alongside the community of gorgeous lanes.

I used to be delighted to listen to of the proposal to create a cycleway from Hereford to Hay.

Think about the bliss of having the ability to cycle into Hereford with out braving the visitors.

Once we locked down final yr there have been many extra individuals biking; this has continued and I hope is right here to remain.

Sadly I’ve met fairly a number of much less assured cyclists who’ve been postpone by the fear of being knocked off their bicycles.

A cycleway can be completely great for our well being, our surroundings and our economic system.

I might strongly urge Herefordshire Council to proceed to withstand the plans (from HRE – Historic Railways Property) which might be afoot to dismantle the outdated railway bridges (together with these at Ailey and Hurstley) which might in my opinion compromise this part of the cycleway.
