CAVE CITY, Ky. (AP) — A ferry at Mammoth Cave Nationwide Park has resumed service after being closed earlier this 12 months for a renovation venture.
The Inexperienced River Ferry resumed shuttling autos throughout the waterway on Sunday, the Bowling Inexperienced Each day Information reported.
The service closed in September for a venture to increase the entry ramp by 30 ft into the Inexperienced River. The ferry is working each day between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., the park service mentioned.
The prolonged ramp will imply fewer interruptions of service on account of low water ranges, Mammoth Cave Nationwide Park spokeswoman Molly Schroer mentioned.
