CEBU CITY—A ferry with 311 passengers ran aground because it approached port in Camotes Island, Cebu, Sunday morning.

The Philippine Coast Guard reported that the MV Mika Mari three, which had come from Danao Metropolis, was about 200 meters from Consuelo port when it stalled.

The vessel its auxiliary engine conked out, inflicting it to tilt to 1 facet and run aground, in response to Lt. First Grade Michael John Encina, data officer of the Philippine Coast Guard in Central Visayas.

Motorboats sailed to the ferry and introduced the passengers to port.
