JTA set to increase ReadiRide to extra Jacksonville neighborhoods

Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTS) is increasing its ReadiRide service in Arlington, Mandarin and the Southside communities starting July 1 to reinforce the mobility of its prospects. 

JTA presents ReadiRide via Owl, Inc. to offer reasonably priced, on-call transportation for purchasers in search of brief journeys inside sure neighborhoods. Not like conventional bus service, ReadiRide doesn’t function on a fixed-route, giving prospects extra management over the place they need to be transported.

ReadiRide presently operates in designated zones throughout the Seashores, Highlands, Northside, Southeast and Southwest communities.

The growth includes areas throughout the Arlington, Mandarin and Southside neighborhoods.

Starting July 1, ReadiRide will cowl the areas beforehand served by Coastal Cab, whose settlement with JTA will expire.

Single journeys are $2 per passenger when picked up and dropped off at a non-JTA location. Prospects in search of transport to a JTA bus cease, station or transit hub pay $zero.50 per journey.

Prospects can buy fares with money, (precise change solely), or via the free MyJTA app, accessible via the Apple App Retailer and Google Play Retailer for Apple and Android cell gadgets.
