CAVE CITY, Ky. (AP) – A ferry at Mammoth Cave Nationwide Park has resumed service after being closed earlier this yr for a renovation mission.
The Inexperienced River Ferry resumed shuttling autos throughout the waterway on Sunday.
The service closed in September for a mission to increase the entry ramp by 30 toes into the Inexperienced River. The park service says the ferry is working each day between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Mammoth Cave Nationwide Park spokeswoman Molly Schroer says the prolonged ramp will imply fewer interruptions of service on account of low water ranges.
