The Alaska Marine Freeway System’s Monday night time crusing from Juneau to Haines and Skagway was canceled as a result of mechanical points with the M/V Matanuska. The Municipality of Skagway has chartered an Allen Marine vessel to switch the canceled crusing.
The boat departs from Allen Marine’s Auke Bay dock in Juneau right this moment at 1 p.m. It should depart the small boat harbor in Haines at four p.m., then depart from the Skagway small boat harbor at 5 p.m. earlier than returning to Juneau.
Tickets could be booked by calling 907-983-2297. Skagway residents and northbound vacationers should e-book and prepay by midday. Haines residents touring southbound to Juneau should e-book after 12:30PM. Choice shall be given to Skagway residents.
Tickets price $75 per grownup and $50 per little one. The passenger restrict is 75 folks. Baggage is restricted to 2 items per individual. Animals in kennels are OK. Firearms are permitted so long as they’re registered with the captain. The chartered boat can not accommodate automobiles.
