Governor Tom Wolf has introduced the approval of 26 rail freight enchancment initiatives that can enhance freight mobility whereas creating or sustaining greater than 200 jobs in Pennsylvania.
“Investing in our state's rail system creates jobs and promotes environment friendly motion of products,” Governor Wolf stated. "These investments assist us construct a world-class infrastructure system and assist the enterprise group."
The State Transportation Fee voted in favor of approving $ 31.three million for initiatives below the Rail Transportation Help Program (RTAP) and the Freight Help Program railway (RFAP).
